Chief Warrant Officer 4 William G. White retired in 1993 after serving 26 years with the US Army. His final assignment was at Ft. Lewis, Washington while serving with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Light Air Mobil Regiment.
Chief White was born in Haskell, Texas but raised on the deserts of Arizona; at 16 years of age he was a farm manager. William owned his own custom farming business as well as being a hunting guide for desert big game, all while attending Arizona State University majoring in the studies of Animal Husbandry and Pre Veterinary. Due to the death of a professor the university dropped a class thus making him eligible to be drafted into the Army. But, William chose to enlist in Combat Construction Engineers due to his experience with heavy equipment.
Chief White has had an extensive career in the United States Army that covered two combat tours: Viet Nam as a water well driller in charge of 5 drilling rigs and Desert Storm as a Senior Warrant Officer responsible for all aspects of a Transportation Group systems equipment posture with over 17,000 vehicles and special weapons transport. He has been assigned to elite units as the special combat systems fielding officer and special weapons expert. Chief White’s deployment requirements were thru NATO control projects of concern while serving with 5/68 Armor, and 11th Armor Cavalry Regiment.

Created training programs for all aspects of warehousing, bottling, programming, safety and turn-key operations. Turned an annual budget of $1.5 million into an 82% profit margin.

Created a company that trains OSHA Industrial and Construction Courses; industrial welding shop and transportation company.

Taught Construction Excavation, Cranes, Easements and various Safety Courses.
Supervised/inspected welding of shipping containers to DOT standards for international shipping.
Developed an automotive and dry goods transportation company.
